weekit is a weekly planning tool built for busy people. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run weekit, we never sell your data, and your plans stay yours.
1. What we collect
Account information such as your name, email address, and password hash. Content you create in weekit, including weekly plans, rituals, tasks, and notes. Usage data such as feature interactions and device information, which helps us improve the product. Billing details are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
2. How we use it
We use your data to provide and improve weekit: syncing your plans across devices, calculating your weekly momentum, sending the reminders you configure, and keeping the service secure. We may send you product updates by email — you can opt out at any time. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your plans or notes for advertising.
3. Storage and security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We host on reputable cloud infrastructure with access controls, audit logging, and regular backups. Access to production data is restricted to a small number of engineers and only when needed to operate the service.
4. Third-party services
If you connect integrations such as your calendar or task tools, we access only the data required to make the integration work, and only with your permission. You can disconnect an integration at any time from your settings. We also rely on a small set of processors for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payments, each bound by data processing agreements.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand how the site is used in aggregate. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your content is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days. You can export your data before deleting your account.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we’ll respond within 30 days.
